“Definitely an old school bbq restaurant. Opened in 1923. Still has the lunch counter with the pedestal stools. Today was my 2nd visit so I had the ribs. They come as a dry rub and you have choice of three levels of bbq sauce to customize the flavor. Don’t eat too much as they have a large selection of deserts. I picked the strawberry cheesecake and it got eaten without a photo. Great service by Danielle today. Check out the parking lot, that many pickup trucks can’t be wrong.”

I had lost my DL and needed to change my name, PLUS get that new Real ID 🌟, so I was prepared to wait a few HOURS to get it done. I Iive in Memphis, but drove to Covington (almost an Hour drive) just so I wouldn't have to endure another bad Memphis DMV experience. Y'all, when I tell you it wasn't 2 MINUTES before the system announced my number!! Ms. Wardlaw had already seen that I was nervous and looking pretty lost and told me she would take good care of me and she did!! Best Experience EVER!! I will NEVER go to another. Want to think Jason at Total Fitness for all the encouraging words and supporting us on this incredible adventure. We're just beginning our 50 adventures over 50 and super excited about it. Really nice workout facility, great equipment, staff is helpful and friendly, love the tanning beds, kids zone (for those that need it) only thing I would improve is the showers. “This restaurant may be a 'hit n miss', but yesterday's visit was definitely a hit! The food was fresh and even had "steak" which was a plus for the hubby. The only downside was some foods they were out of, but I assume because we came a little late in the day probably weren't going to replenish. For the cost, I felt we definitely got our money's worth.”
