Bowie Nature Park

Amazing place. Whether you are visiting for a short break, or a nice walk through the shaded walkways, even just to see and feed some very hungry geese / ducks, you will always find people throughout the park happy. It is very well kept clean, and orderly. The newly built playground is absolutely amazing and the children seen their have tons to enjoy. With the presence of the local PD regularly sweeping through no real fears of incidents comes to mind. Definitely a park to visit in your free time if for nothing else than to just drive through slowly and enjoy seeing all the happy people and possibility of some wildlife.

The trails are perfect for a family walk and the fishing will be off the charts this year!!

The new playground is awesome. Any age kid can have fun. Of course the trails and lake are a mainstay for our family. So lucky to live so close.

My husband and I try and take our dogs here on a semi regular basis. There are some nice flat trails that our 12 year old dog can handle. It’s usually not too crowded in the mornings. Our two younger dogs enjoy it and they all like to sniff around and get their paws wet in the ponds and streams. We really enjoy the park!

I like walking in Bowie Nature Park. The park is full of trails that Intersect. The trails are relatively flat, with no extremely strenuous climbs required. Many trails are covered or partially covered with pine needles. Finally, the park is generally not crowded. On weekdays I typically run across 5-10 people on an hour or so walk.
