This morning, as I was driving to work, I passed an officer with his blue lights on behind a woman with a flat tire on Hwy 100. The officer was down on his hands and knees changing the woman's flat tire. He could have simply made her call a wrecker and pay $100+ to tow her vehicle out of the way, but instead he demonstrated an act of service that you almost NEVER see anywhere. It was really touching to see that, and I hope the officer gets some recognition for going above and beyond.
