We have been very pleased with Dr. Sjursen 's work over the years. We have had two of our sons under Dr. Sjursen's care. My eldest son's horribly misaligned jaw was so bad that two previous orthodontic consultations requested for my son's jaw would have to broken and wired shut for a month! My son literally could only chew with a couple of his molars! However after consulting with Dr. Sjursen we knew we found our orthodontist. He used an anchoring system in my sons jaw which meant his jaw did not need to be broken and go through awful pain and suffering. My eldest son has an amazing beautiful smile that he is thankful for. Our second son did not have such an intense need, but Dr Sjursen is completing his work with him just as well. Our pediatrician denist commented on his work and stated that usually orthodontist would have the braces taken off slightly earlier than my son's even though there would be a slight misalignment in the molars. He stated that Dr Sjursen is very thorough. Both of my boys have had excellent care. I will soon be sending my next two sons to Hilsboro Orthodontics.
