Timberland Park

A little bit of a drive from downtown Nashville, but we’ll worth it! Plus, the drive is quite beautiful too.

The trails are fairly easy to hike, and the adventure is gorgeous and peaceful.

Bring a water bottle, and fill up with cold water at the really nice welcome center, and you’ll have a great time.

So many beautiful, well-kept trails! Very clear paths and markers. Portapotties available in the parking lot. Map at trailhead and at the first split on the trail.

Love this park! Came early in the AM and parking lot was empty. Easy to find a number of trails to start from. Beautiful and easy hike deep into the woods without seeing others - ran into one other person on a cross-trail. Dog friendly but there is a preserve where pets are not allowed off of the Nancy Conway trail.

Beautiful fall leaves and a great place for all skill levels. So peaceful and quiet... at least during the week. One of God's most beautiful gifts.... nature! 🙌🙏

Excellent park, various degrees of hiking trails. If someone is new, it's easy to get lost without maps or directions.
Nice visitor center, clean facilities. Super interactive and friendly staff. There are lots of small to medium trails. There are few picnic tables right near the visitor center.
