Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital: Emergency Room

My wife had to go to ER ,ended up having blood clots, doctors worked very fast and efficiently.
She was there about 2 hours, they sent her home and treated her at home, she got better in about a week. Thank You Vanderbilt!

UPDATE: I am changing my mind about Vanderbilt Wilson. I gave them a bad review due to they had just purchased and had taken over the hospital from someone else and what happened before was really the former hospital who created the problem. We had just moved here.

Recently my son was visiting had to go into hospital for surgery. Vanderbilt Wilson was GREAT. They treated my son great and received excellent care. He had to have surgery and he changed rooms and areas 3 times. This hospital had a bad former hospital’s reputation to overcome and in my opinion,they have. I gave them a one star before but I have changed it to five and they deserve that. We had no complaints.

Well, I have to say I was PLEASANTLY surprised by my visit here at the Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital. I read all of the bad reviews about this place but other ER's reviews were even worse so I took my chance. I had a great experience with Dr. Wooster. He was thorough, explained things in great detail and answered more questions that I had than probably any other doctor would have. He had a neurologist do a Zoom call with me to discuss my MRI and assured me that the images were not showing anything concerning at this time. They called in a tech to take my MRI and he was fantastic as well. He made me comfortable as I do not like small spaces like in an MRI machine. Dr. Wooster made recommendations and did not push any treatment on me. He let me take all of the time I needed to think and process out if I wanted to move forward with treatment. In the end I was reassured about some things which made me feel better. There is still the unknown of what happened in my situation but I have appointments with specialists to follow up from this incident. Thank you Dr. Wooster you were truly a gem!
