Eagle Park

The kids enjoyed riding their scooters here. The little climbing mountain is cool. Something to do in mt J with kids.

They really made it a nice place with a walking path. Idiots will yell from the road at you.

This is a great small neighborhood park. It is good for little ones learning how to ride bikes or scooters. It has a miniature road with double yellow lines and a Stop Sign for the kids to ride on. It is also on a short walking path. I would like to see the walking path extended. The path does connect to neighborhoods with light traffic, which is helpful.
My younger kids enjoy the park, my older kids are starting to outgrow it.

1.8 mile Greenway, 3.6 start to finish from main parking lot. Best time to visit around noon. Evening walks get really dark and end up blinded by traffic. Sunset was pretty, and we did see two trains go by. Very nice!

This is a no frills park! I think that's what makes it great. Just a nice peaceful walking trail, awesome telephone booth, and great rock climbing for kids here. I think this park plays into the tranquility and beauty of the scenary in the area very well. Could be used as a place of reflection, scooter/bike rides for kids, running trail, or the occasional train watching. It's a change of pace from typical parks, but I also this it's absolutely needed!
