The day was a special day with a breakfast meal being shared by the congregation to encourage increased Sunday School attendance.The food was excellent and was prepared by the members who were all wonderful cooks! A special Sunday School lesson was delivered by five different teachers all exhibiting their own personal style of teaching. Lessons focused on the Old Testament and the New Testament from Obediah to Acts. The sermon message was James chapter 4. The music and hymns were traditional and accompanied by piano and organ. Testimonies were shared by members of the congregation exhibiting the love of Christ. I would recommend Barren Plains Baptist Church to anyone looking for a church home or to anyone who is a new believer and looking for a church family to love on them or to be a part of! 👍👍😁🙏🙌”
