This is helpful when having joint replacement surgeries to have clean toenails to reduce the risk of infection. I thought it would be a waste of time because my mother had taken Lamisil for toe fungus and nothing happened. But Dr. Trenner seemed to think that chances were good, if my liver function came back with a positive go ahead report for my intake of Lamisil,. that taking Lamisil tablets would help cure my toe fungus. Oddly enough, this is exactly what happened. The dosage of Lamisil that Dr. Trenner gave me caused my toe fungus to disappear in all my toes, about 6 in all. I'm very thankful to have the healthy look of my toes back, and Dr. Trenner knew what he was doing and is responsible, along with the referring physician, Dr. Andrew Shiner, for the disappearance of my toenail fungus.”
