“I have spent a lot of time at Freedom Middle School in the past two years. I enrolled my children in this school because I believe in public education, and this is our zoned school. I have found the administrators to be hard-working, student-focused and very capable. The teachers are experienced, dedicated and nurturing. Dr. Charles Farmer is new to the school this year. He brings a great deal of expertise in teaching and learning, and his first-hand knowledge of the WCS high school system is already working its way into the daily preparation of the students. I feel my son will be prepared for high school, whether he chooses WCS or a private high school. Teachers are allowed to teach, and are encouraged to connect with students The school environment is positive, with an attitude of respect permeating the school. I feel respected as a parent. I feel my child is respected as a student, and I feel the students respect one another and their teachers. No school is perfect, but this experience has been a positive one for both my children.”

I VERY PLEASED with the measures staff takes to ensure the children are in a safe environment and eating nutrition breakfast and lunch everyday. Mrs. D. The principal is Very hands on with the students, as I saw her interacting with them at an outing yesterday. She never sat down, BUT walked around speaking to all the parents and children she came in contact with..even learning a few dance moves. LEARNING/TEACHING is Belle Forest FIRST PRIORITY.”

“We love Discovery Lane. My oldest child attended for two years before moving on to kindergarten. My youngest is in his fourth and final year. They have loved all their teachers, and I have always felt like I was leaving them in safe hands. The school offers a good blend of play time and art projects with preparation for kindergarten. The 9 to 3 hours were just what I was looking for, and the price is more affordable than many options in Spring Hill. I would highly recommend Discovery Lane.”
