Sundays in the off season are the best. Enough people that you can people watch, not so many that it looks like a beach scene in a shark movie.
Water was crazy warm as far as the end of the fishing pier - bathwater warm. Beach seems to be shrinking and the shallows go out forever, but still beats the buggy swimming area.
Great beach! Shallow entry great for kids and grandkids. You can walk out 100byeards and still be at your knees or hips. This beach can get crowded, but ways enjoyable. $10 per day or $40 yearly pass.
The Best ! Clean, no pets on the beach or in the water ! 😀 Love the tiki huts on the beach to sit under, perfect. Lots of play areas for children, perfect for families. Pavillion for bathroom as well as some Port A potties. Also a Salt Water pool at the end. So great!
Great location for a relaxing day at the beach. Clean beach sandbars go really far out so you can go pretty far before the water gets too deep. The cabanas provide shade so all you need is a chair and a towel to stake out your spot. Usually not too busy. Day pass is $10/car or $40 for the year pass.
This was my first time here. I've always didn't pay, but never stopped until this past weekend. Best decision ever. Exceptionally clean beach, not over crowded, and perfectly safe swim area for toddlers and younger kids. First time I've been to the beach and I didn't have to worry about my kids, and was able to thoroughly enjoy myself. There is also a playground, a small bar with a stage for love bands, good clean restrooms and showers, picnic tables and tiki covers.
