Brett's Biltong

Wife and I honeymooned and have vacationed a handful of times in Cape Town pre-covid. Haven't been able to go back to ZA, especially now with a toddler on such a long flight. This place is great... Incredibly friendly and hospitable.

I believe she mentioned that their family are originally Rhodies, so the flavor profile is ever so slightly different than the biltong we had encountered in our travels to that side of the world... Delicious nonetheless, and absolutely scratched the itch we've been having for proper some proper biltong and wors. We'll have to order twice as much next time, because 4 of us went through 4lbs of biltong, droewors, and the angry sticks in about 4 days of trying to pace ourselves. The peppered steak pasties were delicious as well.

Writing this review has me debating driving back out there this second. 🤣

The best biltong in all of Texas! Seriously, they make authentic proper tasting biltong.
And to boot it all they have some bloody nice South African goodies there.
Brett and his wife are super helpful and friendly.

Also check out their boerewors and dry sausages.

Love it. Brett's a great guy, really nice guy to talk to and he has quite the shop. The biltong is to die for. His angry biltong hits the spot!

Excellent biltong!! If you go, make sure you say hi to Brett - he's from Bulawayo, but don't hold that against him - for a Matabele he's ok!

Stopped by today on my way through. Biltong and Droewors were excellent, Brett and his wife were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be stopping by anytime I'm in the area.
