Lightning Ranch RV Park

The park was very nice and well maintained. Beautiful place!

Fantastic no frills rv park. If you like peace and quiet wonderful staff and beautiful views than this is the place for you. Great large dog park. Activities during the week. The Manger and Owners really care about your comfort short distance to Bandera and the spots are nice and large. So impressed we will he back in August

They only reason I gave 4 stars is because the sites are gravel, I prefer paved. The park is on the smaller size, mostly quiet and well maintained. Most of the sites have a gravel pad about 10' x 70' +/-. With a lawn about 15' x 70' +/-. The WiFi is too slow to stream. The only negative is a constant high-pitched chirp. I can't hear it inside, but I can't stay outside for long. Sounds like a smoke alarm going off somewhere. I've been here a week; it's still chirping.

Quite and comfortably situated in the Texas Hill Country in Pipe Creek, TX. The town name alone made me want to stay there. The gravel lot was level and easy to back into. Get out of the city lights and enjoy the vast Texas sky for a peaceful nights rest. We stayed a week and wish we could have stayed longer. Walk around the property and get a little exercise in. Was convenient location to scout out the area from. The camp host were a delight and the facilities were clean with several washers and dryers to use. This is where I stay in the Hill Country.

Jim and Barb are probably the friendliest people you can meet! They were very accommodating and made sure we enjoyed are stay, Jim spoiled are dogs every chance he got! From the site to the laundry and bathroom facilities,this is one of the cleanest parks we’ve been to. Fantastic dog run and many trails to walk. We would definitely stay here again.
