Great service and great place to learn about history 👏 👍
Fun, little museum specializing in the history of Bastrop and Bastrop county.
My favorite part was seeing the arrowheads from any from 8000 BCE -1800CE and learning more about how the city was impacted by WW2.
Very friendly staff.
One of the finest community museums you will find anywhere.
Great place to start your exploration of Bastrop. Good museum with a helpful, friendly staff.
I've lived in Bastrop for almost 12 years now, and I learn something new every time I visit. They have great "contests" for kids, provide a well-researched historical view, and host interesting revolving exhibits. In addition, the staff are always friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I know, you'd think that would be a given, but it isn't always. I know I can walk in any day they're open and have a fun conversation with whoever is there.
