  My life skyrocketed out of control after many years of drinking and 2 major life changing events in 2021 which ended up in a major seizure which was a close to death experience for me. When I was discharged I was admitted directly into Burning Tree where I stayed for 45 days and then to sober living. I relapsed after 4 months sober and knew I had to go straight back to Burning Tree. I stayed another 45 days and the 2 stays together cemented my sobriety! The staff at Burning Tree are amazing. They are in it for all the right reasons. They care and they are totally dedicated to the program and most of all the clients.
  The program is based on Mindfulness and the 12 step/Big Book. It is truly amazing what they do there! Burning Tree and its staff literally saved my life!

  I cannot put into words the gratitude I have for Burning Tree... The treatment program was good, but the most meaningful to me, was the kindness, compassion and love that ALL staff graciously extended to me when I was at my worst. Chemicals were an obvious problem for me, but what I had the opportunity to learn, was so much more than that. I have a great respect and love for this facility and everyone their who impacted my life in a profound way. If you want Spa Days, and 5 star chefs, probably not your place. If you are open to learning WHY you do what you do with chemicals, and have an ounce of willingness, this place will change your life!

  Renewal Lodge has truly changed my life. The mindfulness & meditation component was the key to my recovery! The staff there truly care, and are there with you every step of the way. I couldn’t thank them enough, grateful to be an alumni. Being in treatment for 90 days at Burning Tree was the best decision I could have made. Plus they have two pretty awesome pups !!! Staff thank you again , see y’all soon !!!

  This program is a serious one. It is helpful and I learned a lot. The staff care and the groups are really informative. My only complaint about my 30 day stay here was the psychiatric provider. WARNING: DO NOT LISTEN TO ANYTHING MELISSA RIVIERA SAYS. She is the psych provider I met with virtually, and she absolutely misdiagnosed me while I was less than a week sober. She also had no problem putting me on a new medication for Borderline Personality Disorder (which I have never been diagnosed with) that cost $1400 a month. When I saw another provider after my stay here, he noted that the generic of what she gave me is $15 a month. In addition, she prescribed a diabetic medication to make me lose weight after I admitted that I should lose a little weight. This medication was only intended for diabetics and can have serious repercussions if used long term in non diabetics.
  
  Again, this treatment center is great. The community was strong while I was there and it is a great place to be for your first 30-90 days sober. Just make sure if you get Melissa Riviera as your doctor, ask for a different one.

  This place has changed my heart in many ways during my stay. The fact I learned I am not my thoughts I am only an observer of my thoughts. Meaning I don’t have to attach myself to any negative thoughts or emotions because I have a choice to live in the present moment. So being in control of what I have in this present moment is huge for my recovery and for my specific addict mind. This place has the best staff and most importantly they are in recovery too and can relate to us. I will never forget the wonderful people here at Burning Tree Renewal Lodge, and I want to eventually work here once I get more recovery/sobriety under my belt. By far an all around solid place to help change my life and I recommend it to anyone like me who’ve been to many treatments and failed. Or have been to endless trips to jail, sober living facilities, or again lots of treatment centers without gaining longevity in sobriety afterwards. God bless whomever reads this needing an honest explanation of why to pick this place to finally get the freedom you want. I did. Take care.
