The owners and staff of Elgin Funeral Home cared for me and my family calmly, warmly, efficiently, and unselfishly. I felt the warmth of their Faith upon our family at every step. They prepared my wife's body for the services and for burial expertly and with kindness. Josh's wise counsel lifted so much of my burden at a time when I greatly needed it. I am forever grateful to everyone there for what they did for me and my family.

I don’t know where to begin. Josh, Jamie, Sophia, and Gwen are an amazing team. When I lost my mother, they took such good care of my father and I. Like many that find themselves in this situation, we were lost on what to do and so worried about missing important details. Even though Josh was feeling unwell himself, he worked tirelessly to make sure everything was perfect. He led us step-by-step through the entire process. He even ended our service with some beautiful, kind words that honored my mother. Who has heard of a funeral director doing that? Every person who works in this place has the kindest, most giving soul. I am forever indebted to them. Not to mention, the place itself is beautiful. It feels like a comfortable chic home, not a funeral home. I can’t express my gratitude for the guidance and care we received in laying my mother to rest through Elgin Funeral Home.
