“Great plant nursery in Elgin off of Hwy 95 with great prices and large variety of houseplants, starter veggies & herbs, trees, flowers, and all of your gardening needs! Every time I stop by, there are plenty of employees on the floor to help with any questions I may have and always offer great advice for my veggie garden. Definitely worth the drive from Austin and surrounding areas! Check out their fresh stock on Tuesdays and Thursdays 😉🌿”

“We brought our 6 year old grandson in for an after-game dinner. We were greeted very promptly, by a very professional young, man who took our order, and actually acted like he WANTED to take our order😍. The meal was delivered very quickly, and the staff checked on us multiple times. Toward the end of our meal, a woman, who we assume was the manager, brought our little guy an ice cream cone. That really made his night! I regret that I didn’t get her name, or the young man who took our order. Monday night, April 5, 7:30 or so.Thanks, DQ team! Great meal, great service! New: We visited again April 30. This time, I got the mgr’s name. Actually, our little grandson asked!😍He thinks she’s “REALLY REALLY KIND!!” Her name is Faye, and she IS really kind. And very enthusiastic. The food, and service, was great. Thanks!!!”

“The first time I came in there was a lady working the counter that was very pushy and rude. I felt I wouldn't return because she was just rude for no reason, maybe it was an off day because today the entire staff was there and was super friendly and quick moving. As a small business I'm sure they are doing a lot to keep in business so I am glad I returned and had a wonderful experience. Great donuts and a friendly place!!”

“I recently moved to Elgin, and I believe strongly in supporting small mom and pop type pharmacies. I'm very glad that my support paid off because Elgin medicine shop is an amazing pharmacy. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, they are extremely fast at filling prescriptions, never out of stock of my medication (It's a controlled substance which the big chain pharmacies seem to always understock and take days to order more) and also carry a high quality generic formulation from a respectable pharmaceutical company (again unlike the big chains which carry the cheapest generic and change it constantly to get the best price leading to inconsistent results for the patient). The best part for me though is the lack of judgment from the pharmacy staff, somebody who has chronic pain due to cancer and long-term illness like I do and requires medication for that, I'm used to the judgmental looks from pharmacy staff that assume I'm some sort of an addict. Elgin medicine shop treats me like a human being, with compassion and empathy, they treat me like any other patient picking up a blood pressure medication when I go to pick up my pain meds. It's sad how rare that is to find, but I appreciate it more than you know. Thank you Elgin medicine shop for being amazing and treating your customers with compassion and dignity”

“Was looking for a place to park while I wait my turn to deliver at Southside market down the street a good ways. I came here and parked at the back entrance not blocking the business or traffic coming in and out. Was greeted by the staff with smiles and friendly atmosphere. Food was excellent and fresh and definitely served to order. Definitely recommend coming here and will be back soon. Great selection of food and prices are pretty decent.”

“Food is always good here. The service is always quick and friendly. The french fries are excellent. I like fresh french fries. Some places let their grease get old and stinky and makes their fried foods taste disgusting. I NEVER have that problem here. They always get my orders correct and they never forget to put a straw and napkins in the bag.”

“I would just like to say that the girl who was working a closing shift by herself handled it so well and absolutely blew me away. She stayed overtime to help me get my issue resolved and was very understanding. My only problem is that I believe there should be someone helping her close. There were 3 groups of people in the store and she had to help each of those by herself while getting extremely close to the closing time. She needed the help and it feels quite careless to leave her alone under that stress. With that being said, she handled everything so well while being under the stress and I am so so grateful for her support!”

“Bombshell recently completed the rotisserie restoration of our 1973 Camaro Z28. They really did a fantastic job and treated us so respectfully. This was our very first restoration. We are very blessed to have worked with them. The crew was always friendly and extremely knowledgeable. They work on all kinds of cars and trucks, so they brought that experience to our build which was a combination of mostly stock and a little custom. They always listened to us and made suggestions. Some of the fabrication ideas, like the custom exhaust, were absolutely brilliant. The customer service was truly outstanding and the invoicing was so detailed, you knew exactly what was being done. Always up front and honest. We also had tons of laughs, which I will personally miss as I visited the shop on a weekly basis. There is so much pride at this shop that even a non-car person can see it. My brother could not believe how clean such a big shop could be and the craftsmanship of the various builds going on just blew his mind. It was a fantastic experience and one we will always remember when we cruise in our car. To summarize, a shop this good doesn't need to advertise and they don't. All word of mouth. That should tell you what you need to know.”

“I ordered progressives and it took me a while to get used to them. In fact, I purchased another pair a the store inside my ophthalmologist's office, thinking maybe because I paid less, I got less-than-perfect glasses. I have a hard time telling any difference between the pairs and actually prefer the Nikon lenses I got from Wal Mart. Images just seem sharper. Joaquin was so helpful, taking his time to be sure things were right and that I was happy. I'll definitely be a repeat customer, at least as long as he's there. His time and patience were very much appreciated. Such good customer service and quality!”
