“The pen is small and cheap looking at first impression. It was designed for German School Children. I can only assume the reason that this pen is now so expensive for a rather inexpensive item, would be due to the fact that German School Children no longer use the pens. There is no longer a need to manufacture millions of pens, thus raising the price. It is German made, and manufactured to the standard German perfection, but with inexpensive materials. The pen writes like a dream, perhaps the best I have tried thus far. There is no skipping customary for fountain pens. The writing was smooth and clean. The Ink flow for the flex nib is excellent. The ink I used is Pilot Iroshizuku Bottled Fountain Pen Ink. If you purchase this pen, be prepared in dealing with a child's size pen but one that writes excellent. Overall, It is my opinion that $49.99 for this pen is way too expensive for what you get. It really should be maybe $20. There are much better deals out there. It is for this reason I am rating this NOS Reform 1745 Fountain Pen, Two Tone Gold Flexible EF Nib Piston Filling, a 4 star.”

“When traveling the roads of Texas some of the coolest places are the small towns in between the cities. This little spot in Bastrop was a great discovery. Serious about their desserts and coffee. “I came across this place while trying to find a cafe in Bastrop, and it was way better than a cafe and way better for you. The girls working were all very helpful and friendly and the juice and smoothies were so good! We had the dragon power smoothie, the "green glow" juice and "the beet goes on" juice. They have a really cute outdoor seating area in the back with that was a great relaxing place to enjoy the drinks. I will definitely stop here again as we go through Bastrop. Ordering online was super convenient too.”
