Came here after a complicated shoulder surgery. My shoulder was "frozen" before surgery, even worse after. PT was not helping as much as I'd hoped. I decided to give an alternative therapy a try, figuring it couldn't hurt (and I've nevery had acupuncture before). I'm glad I did.
Today was my third visit. My torn muscles that were reattached are getting MUCH looser using various therapies here in the clinic. My shoulder is loosening up quickly.
A few of the exercises assigned by physical therapy cause one of the screws in my shoulder to light up like someone is drilling a hole in the bone (again). It's difficult to maintain compliance and I have to adjust my exercises. That's why I came here, to do everything I can.
The past six weeks of physical therapy have helped me move maybe 15-20% increased extension. As of my third acupuncture therapy, I'm up over an additional 30% extension and I can really feel my shoulder start to unlock. I'm looking forward to raising my arm all the way again.
My next appointment is Friday. I'll keep coming as long as I'm seeing positive results. I'll leave another review when I've "completed" my therapy here.
Professionally, I work as a critical care RN. And I think this acupuncture therapy is amazing! -

(June 22, 2018, 9:46 pm)My first time here and I had been in pain for 3 weeks. I've been to my regular doctor and specialist and all they did was prescribed pain medication. After my visit today I feel great barely any pain, I can walk I'm full of energy. Just so grateful not to be in pain. Thank you so much ill definitely be back next week
