  Wonderful family restaurant serving authentic Puerto Rican and Dominican cuisine. The welcoming and friendly greeting my group of friends received when we arrived for a late lunch today made us feel at home immediately. The food was just amazing! My friends and I each ordered different dishes and we were all impressed with the delicious food. I have driven by this restaurant many times on FM78 and never stopped, because I wasn't sure if they were open. Today I finally stopped with my friends and we are so glad we did. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in the city of Converse, Texas. Inexpensive menu, but high quality foods. I will be back with more family and friends and I highly recommend this restaurant.

  The owner Julian and the staff, Harold & Blanca are so friendly, professional and their service are impeccable! The food was tasty and presented well.
  They served us some of their Sancocho.....which is hard to find here and it so so delicious! They serve that on Saturday and Sundays.
  Will definitely go there again and recommend anyone who is looking for Dominican & Puerto Rican food !

  The food was amazing great flavor very delicious traditional Portarican and Dominican dishes. We came late on a Friday night so they ran out of a lot of items. So make sure you get there early.

  Yesterday my wife and I went to dine at Fogón & Leña. We both ordered Tofongo (ripe & green plantain) with fried meat. The wait was a bit long. However, the food was tasty and well prepared. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. If in a hurry, order from the buffet area, otherwise come and enjoy the great food!
