Cool place to visit
Definitely go check it out!
An experience in miniature! The craftsmanship of layout is Awe inspiring.
Came upon the San Antonio Model Railroad Association by accident while working on Toepperwein Rd. Most visitors are also not aware of this gem located here & that it is one of the longest miniature railroad tracks in Texas. Admission is Free. A guided tour is available. For those desiring more information, a library room is open for your use. Impressed with all the details of rail/train construction, displays and care by the museum staff to make this a must see for all train lovers. If I remember correctly, the train travels on rails from San Antonio thru New Braunfels to Fort Worth. Highly recommend to all, especially families. Make a 1/2 day +/- out of a visit to this mini train musuem at no cost to you.
The reality of the train layouts is awesom
Tremendous detail. A must to model railroad enthusiasts.
