(April 7, 2019, 9:20 pm)Came upon the San Antonio Model Railroad Association by accident while working on Toepperwein Rd. Most visitors are also not aware of this gem located here & that it is one of the longest miniature railroad tracks in Texas. Admission is Free. A guided tour is available. For those desiring more information, a library room is open for your use. Impressed with all the details of rail/train construction, displays and care by the museum staff to make this a must see for all train lovers. If I remember correctly, the train travels on rails from San Antonio thru New Braunfels to Fort Worth. Highly recommend to all, especially families. Make a 1/2 day +/- out of a visit to this mini train musuem at no cost to you.
