I had never really lifted weights before, and was intimidated by the bro culture at gyms. I wanted to get stronger but didn’t know what exercises I should be doing and wanted to make sure I did them in a way I wouldn’t be hurting myself. I’ve loved coming to Watchdog - it’s been a welcoming space and far from intimidating. The coaches meet you where you’re at and help you find exercises that work for you and your goals. The combination of community and personalized training is wonderful, we all have our own workout plans but get to lift together!
This is a Fantastic gym! Sal and Cristy are super nice and take an interest in you no matter what fitness level you're at. They are always there to give you tips and tricks to get the most out of every workout. People of all ages are welcome. If you want to make a change in your life with someone that is empathetic about your fitness goals. Watchdog strength is the place to go!
Getting a personal trainer was always something I was apprehensive about, but joining Watchdog has changed my mind. The facility is very welcoming and the staff is very knowledgeable, not only that, but they care about your progress and well-being. The owners, Sal and Cristy, are extremely patient with everyone and are amazing motivators. Working out with them has not only improved my strength, but has also boosted my confidence. Their instruction has greatly inspired me to push myself and I am happy with the results I have achieved.
Watchdog Strength is great! I have been going consistently for 2 months and I have seen great improvements. Coach Sal is awesome at working with your abilities to align with your health goals, and pushing you to get the most out of your workouts. I have seen a HUGE jump in weight on all lifts just from focusing on form and consistency. Cristy has also helped on the nutrition front in her meal plan designs. Delicious and clean meals lead to weight loss without ever feeling like I was on a ‘diet’.
It’s been a positive, welcoming, and fun experience at Watchdog Strength. Watchdog Strength provides a program consistent with positive and reinforcement fitness learning. Before joining Watchdog Strength, my experience with trainers was not pleasant. These trainers set unrealistic goals and training programs, leaving me frustrated and unmotivated to continue my physical training journey. Watchdog Strength delivers a safe, repetitious physical training program that teaches you the skills you need to be successful in your fitness goals. It’s not just about how much weight you can handle. The trainers are patient, encouraging, and always willing to help you reach your goals. They genuinely get to know you, so they can build and customize a realistic training program that works for you. Thank you for teaching me the joy of building my strength and overall fitness. I am happy to be a member and continue my physical training journey!
