If ur in San Antonio and on vacation this is 1 of best places 2 visit. The museum has art, exhibits and world war 1and 2 exhibit's. Great 4 the kids.

The best place in Texas to find out who made the state what it is today. This is a cultural museum that highlights the diverse ethnicities that made Texas famous. Plenty of interactive artifacts located in open trunks for visitors to examine. Docents on the museum main floor from 10:00am to 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. Docent Gallery Hosts available on weekends.

The Institute of Texan Cultures is located at 801 E. Cesar E. Chavez Blvd., at the corner of Chavez and Tower of the Americas Way (formerly Durango and Bowie). It is easiest to access from I-37, via the Chavez exit.
The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures celebrates the annual Asian Festival, observing the Lunar New Year and celebrating the many rich cultures of Asia.
