I worked at Retama Manor North over a year and found the Rehab team to be good one. Nikki, DOR was a great leader. Marisol, SLP was knowledgeable of Dementia and Dysphagia. She was a team player and advocate for the Residents. I appreciate my experience as an employee there.
My family really loves this place my aunt lives there and me and my husband came to visit from out of town for her birthday, when we got there the young lady sitting at the door was very respectful and told us exactly where my aunt would be. This place seems to be a very friendly environment and my aunt's room was very nice and clean. I know she loves this place because she asked me if I wanted to stay and eat "good dinner" with her since the food has recently gotten better with some new people in the kitchen.
We put my uncle in this place for few days for going on cruise with family. At first walking in lady in front is nice and took us to room. Many places would not take my uncle because he falls but this place did very good with him. I was nervous about leaving my family since I have never before but they treated him so good. I will be bringing back in the future. Very nice.
I came to this nursing home as part of our clinical rotation earlier this year. I enjoyed my time at the building and it made me realize how much I definitely want to be a nurse and help people like the people there. The patients are all so cute and obviously like it there.
