Stapleton Park

Nice nice view of the base and usually I nice breeze. I just wish it had rubber instead of stone. Sometimes older kids try to throw the stones at each other. However I also see some kids make little hills and put some down the slide. So they can be nice if used properly.

If you are looking for a place to host a military related picnic, Stapleton Park is great choice. The views of the flight line are fantastic. It has tennis and basketball courts for athletic activities, plus it is right next to the Gillum Fitness Center to make use of those facilities from Monday – Friday when it is open.

Good place for a morning run.

Playground. Basketball courts. Picnic tables and grills. There are bathrooms and water fountains. Also in the immediate area are running and hiking trails and a track.
