This was great! I went with my daughter, and the grandkids (4 and 2). The staff are amazing! They were so welcoming and I was a little worried we would get lost in the shuffle because there were several field trips going on during our visit, but the staff made sure we were included and the little ones were able to see. They were all so knowledgeable and friendly and they really look they they enjoy teaching everyone about the animals.
Absolutely love this gem in lower Brazoria County! Excellent and immersive place to take the whole family! Feed giant tortoises and gators while touring the park at your own leisure or take a guided and educational tour with one of the many knowledgeable and energetic staff members. You can tell that the staff love what they do and believe in their mission to preserve and educate! It’s a must visit place! Parking is limited but don’t worry there is plenty of space in the park!
Bonus: You can bring in your own food and drink to make a day of it!
A unique experience! Decided to bring our daughter during spring break and we’re so glad we did! From the moment we checked in we were greeted with smiling faces. We had the option to buy food to feed the animals ($5 each) which I highly recommend. It’s not everyday you get to feed huge tortoises, alligators and elands. Our tour guides were all great! Matthew was very funny, knowledge and passionate about his job. At the end we all got to pet a few reptiles which was awesome. Thank you Crocodile Encounter for a memorable experience!
Neat experience. Getting close up and being able to feed the animals is cool. All the staff was super friendly and willing to answer questions and show us around to places like where they keep young crocs. Price was incredibly reasonable as well
Always have a great time here. wonderful place to take kids :) Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit! One of the more interesting places in the area to visit if you're into animals.
