  We first met Greg several years ago while vacationing in Galveston. My first conversation with him on the phone discussing a 1/2 day jetty trip told me he was family friendly and wanted to ensure that we had a great time. We caught so many fish! My son was able to catch his first 5' black tip reef shark! Since that first trip we have driven to Galveston area to fish with Greg and his crew - Gregory and Ernest. We have done offshore, shark fishing, and jetty tours. Those guys never disappoint! They are professional and want to put you in the best place possible to catch lots of fish! Once we were scheduled for an offshore trip and got a call from Greg at 0530 that the wind conditions were such that it was not safe to go out. He offered us a jetty alternative or a refund. I appreciated the fact that he was more concerned with our safety than just making money. If you are looking for a quality crew, these are your guys!

  Captain Greg and his team are the best. They know how to make long lasting memories happen! And they know how to put you on the fish. However, the most important thing that sets them apart is the fact that they aren’t focused on just collecting a pay check. I’ve gone out with Greg 3 times, and every time has been memorable. He treats his customers with respect, and focuses on getting fish on the boat! I will continue to use Greg in the future and recommend him, and his team to anyone that I hear is looking to go fishing.
  
  I can’t wait to send my son to fish camp with Greg and his team when he gets old enough.

  I booked a trip with this guide for me and my two sons (12 & 14). This was my second trip with them. The first was with Captain Greg and was a flounder gigging trip a few years ago. Great time and he put us on lots of flounder. This trip we fished in shore with Captain Greg Jr. He was great with my boys, who are still both somewhat inexperienced fishermen. Very patient. Taught them a lot. Youngest son caught at 26 inch trout. Oldest son caught a 30 lb. black drum. Both had something to brag about. Lots of other fish as well. They can't wait to return. I can't recommend this service enough.

  We booked an offshore trip with Capt Greg for a buddies Bachelor party, but due to the weather that day we could not go offshore. Capt Greg gave us a couple different options including moving to another day, but due to our time in town he ultimately took us out on a bay trip. Greg was very upfront and let us know what to expect before we agreed to the bay trip. Although we didn't get to go offshore Greg made sure we still had a great time!

  Fishing Freeport Charters is absolutely the charter company you are looking for. Friendly, knowledgeable, and most of all honest. About 5/6 years ago I decided to take my wife and 2 nephews deep sea fishing. A first time for all of us so I go online and researched and called probably a dozen or more charter company’s. Greg was the last one that I called and talked to. I knew once I talked to him he was who we were going to use.
  I have not missed a trip in the last 5/6 years. If you have kids , worry no more. They are in good hands and they will have the time of their life. My nephews talked about Greg and the trip every time they talk about fishing. We go 1 to 2 times a year and make great memories every time.
  I can keep going but don’t take my word. Book a trip with him and then you can share your wonderful experience back here for us all. Happy fishing!!! Best charter company you will find!!!!!!!!!!!
