(March 12, 2020, 7:51 pm)What a great part of the beach. This section in Surfside is very clean. They have a guy selling car passes ($12) right at the entry to the beach. It is easy to access and a wonderful place.

(October 5, 2019, 11:23 am)Pro tip: Plan on arriving by 8am - 9am to get great spots close to bathroom/portapotty, and by the time it hits peak heat at 2pm the kids are already tired and you beat the traffic rush driving back toward north Greater Houston. Plan ahead and bring trash bags to help clean up after yourself so this place stays amazing!

(October 4, 2018, 11:17 pm)Loved my visit here. Wish there were more places to stay. One nice hotel nearby $$$. You can drive your car down the beach, take a walk, dogs on leash, surfing, just chill out. Just beautiful!
