(September 17, 2019, 6:20 am)My kids love that the playground is so close to the splash pad. Nice walking path and places to barbecue. Great place to have a kid birthday party or playdate.
(August 13, 2019, 12:07 pm)Very clean, kept up park. Wonderful, sturdy playground for kids that is mostly shaded. None of those horrible wood chips in sight! Playground is big enough for plenty of kids to play safely. Splash pad holds about 2" of water in the middle, but with proper adult supervision it's very unlikely that's even an issue at all. My daughter loved that held some water so she could lay down and be a mermaid. The only thing I could complain about is that on a busy, summer day, there would probably not be enough seats close to the playground. There are only two benches and one table. Overall awesome though! 4 stars *EDIT* Seems like they have fixed the 2" of water that was staying on the splash pad
(May 6, 2019, 1:17 pm)I attended Sweeny Pride Day as a volunteer. I was only there for about 4 hours, but the weather was nice and breezy. I was able to mingle with some of the vendors there and made a few purchases before leaving. Overall, I would reccomend going to Pride Day and this park in general as the playground is updated and bathrooms look to be kept in good, clean working order. Wish I would have stayed for the cook off food as it smelled wonderful. I look forward to going back next year.
