“There are really two parts of my review; both merit mentioning because both made my vacation unforgettable. The first is the exceptional service I received from the folks at Dream Destination. I approached them about planning a large vacation on short notice, and provided very little direction in terms of what I want. After reviewing the information they assembled on their website and speaking to them several times, I settled on a 14d magnificent Europe cruise. To make the most of my experience, I decided to add both pre- and post- cruise activities. I began planning my 27d vacation less than 2 weeks before my departure, and simply couldn't have made it as spectacular as it was without the assistance I received from Hank and Anne of Dream Destinations. I leaned on them to handle all of my transit and to book my hotels and a few tours at the three cities I wanted to visit. I was blown away at each location; they even went above and beyond in booking my transit. Rather than taking a bus or plane to reach my second location, these guys suggested a take a first class train ride to see more of the country itself: awesome idea, this necessary travel became one of the highlights of my trip. This is the kind of attention to detail that you will get from these guys; whether you know exactly what you want or you haven't even begun to narrow down options you won't go wrong by bringing these guys on board to help you plan. Have you ever left a restaurant with an overwhelming sense of appreciation for the phenomenal service the wait staff provided? Well I woke up each morning of my 14 day cruise feeling that way. The cruise line that was recommended to me by Dream Destinations (Ama Waterways) was spectacular; there is simply no way to describe what it's like to explore Europe while traveling in a mobile five-star hotel. There were plenty of excursions to pick from, and the relaxed pace of everything meant that there was no problem changing your mind at a moment's notice. I made a commitment to take advantage of every opportunity to see Europe while I was there and enjoyed the local tour guides immensely. After experiencing the river cruise I can see why the guys at Dream Destinations are so high on them. So much of the logistics (aka frustration) are handled by the crew, making it so you are able to completely enjoy the sights and sounds of Europe. By the third day you won't know what day of the week it is and won't really care either. I traveled on the ship AmaPrima, which is featured in the picture I've included. What really blew me away was when I realized that the garden featured in the photo is the one on the cover of Rick Steve's Germany guide! Never a moment of disappointment!! Hank and Anne were there to support me during the trip selection and planning processes; however they were also there to support me during the trip. When I wanted to obtain hard-to-get tickets for a popular museum I simply shot them an email and less than 4 hours later they instructed me on exactly what to do to get the tickets. I simply can't say enough about the role Dream Destinations played in helping me create the European vacation of my dreams. I would not hesitate to refer friends and family to them, and look forward to returning to them to help me plan my next trip.”
