Fantastic experience, Ashley is the friendliest person in Texas. Cedar Bend is extremely accommodating to cyclists. If your doing the Texas hill country loop this is an excellent overnight choice.
I stayed here for about six months. This is a fantastic place to stay. The sites are spacious and level. The park is on a quiet county road just south of Bertram. The park itself is very quiet. The internet is fast and able to stream live TV. The cabin in the center of the park has washers, dryers and a shower. It is accessible 24 hours a day. Amazon, USPS, FedEx and UPS all deliver packages directly to the cabin out of the elements. Trey and Ashley own the park and are on site as well. Everyone I met there was super friendly.
Would definitely recommend a short or long term stay here.
This is such a nice, quite RV park run by an amazing couple. Ashley and Trey are always doing things to improve the park. The sites are very spacious, you are not on top of each other. There is parking for two vehicles, large enough to fit pickup trucks. Pets are allowed and we love taking a stroll around the park with our dog. The park is very clean and includes wifi, common grounds with a bathroom and shower, and eggs from the resident chickens (they get to roam free for a few hours daily). This place feels like home and I highly recommend it!
Ashley and her team were more than amazing! We are traveling by bicycle and they made our stay one of the best we have ever had while touring. Their clubhouse, with HOT showers, grill, fridge, laundry are cyclists dreams. More importantly, Ashley really seemed to care about us and offer us many extras. CYCLISTS THIS IS A MUST STAY. Do not skip it!
First off there aren’t enough stars to rate how awesome this place has been to stay at the last 6 months. Family friendly is an understatement because you are treated as family when you first arrive. The owner has got to be one of the finest ladies I’ve had the pleasure to know and she goes over and beyond to ensure your stay is as wonderful as it possibly can be! Site spaces are huge and If you enjoy quite country living then look no further! It’s away from any city lights and the stars are beautiful, it’s peaceful in the evenings and such a great spot for camping or living. This is not your normal campground at all, it is a slice of country heaven and cannot be compared to campgrounds that just pack in campers like sardines. Overall I don’t have a single bad word to say about this place, but I will say it was a God send that I got to stay there.
