(October 15, 2021, 3:11 pm)We shared the sliced brisket sandwich with fried okra. The bun was as good as the brisket. Because we shared they cut it in half and gave us tons of okra! Then on to the pie….chocolate meringue…..so good. Friendly service and we visited with Frank a bit! We will be back!!!
(June 19, 2021, 7:55 am)Friendly service wins out the day. You have a great chance to see Frank and hear him talk to the local customers. The waitstaff is quick and friendly as well.
This is small-town feel everyone talks about wanting experience.
(March 20, 2019, 11:52 am)It was Saturday lunch time, had just run into my buddies relatives that live in the area. Found ourselves at Frank's. Very unassuming location as you approach, but don't judge this book by its cover.
The waitress promptly brought our hosts their "usual" drink before any words were ever spoken. She was kind and welcoming, and you could tell she appreciated her repeat customers.
All the food around the table looked amazing. The chopped BBQ on the jalapeno bun will be my next order should I find myself there again. But this time I had the chicken fried pork chop. So good!!! Juicy and perfect.
If you find yourself in the neighborhood, give them a try!
(April 27, 2017, 2:40 pm)It was good. Prices are a little more than expected for the atmosphere. Chicken was a little tough for a sandwich but the bread tasted homemade. Fries were generous. Hubby and I shared one basket of fries.
