Fort Anahuac Park

Nice spot to spend outdoors crabbing or fishing .Very clean and quite.

Had both my grandsons birthdays' there.at least 15 of us and everyone had an awesome time..With electrical hook-ups for. Our use .Water so the kids were able to cool off..An entertaining play area.with updated equipment and large replicas of turtles,,frogs and alligators to climb on (as well as perfect back drops for birthday pictures) No one including the grown ups ever complained are wannted to go home. We all had A great time. The children ranged in age s from 15 to 13 months with there being around 12 to 14 children and 7 adults. We didn't but if we had wanted we could have walked down the hill and gone fishing off the pier. Areare driven to the levee down the hill and gone swimming...Highly recommend.

This place has been revamped and is very nice to just go hang by the water. Still working on it. September is Gator Fest time! See ya there.

I had an amazing afternoon just hanging out at this park. Such a lovely location overlooking the Trinity River.

Quiet family friendly place. You can arrange to stay overnight and you will be safe.
