Todd has been amazing. I met him when in crisis and he has walked with me through the lowest time of my life and out the other side. His nonjudgmental approach provided a safe place for me to learn how to conquer things that I had given up on beating. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
Absolutely the finest counselor anybody could select. Todd is relatable to any situation, whether in crisis or just wanting to be the best version of yourself. His wisdom and insight have been invaluable to me in every circumstance and stage of life.
Finding Todd was a life-changer at a time I needed it most! His ability to reason with me through all my dark (and some not-so-dark) struggles was amazing. This must come through, not just astute listening, but he truly hears what I say and feel. He stays engaged the entire time you are with him, making you feel confident and comfortable to share anything that's on your mind.
Todd is supportive, caring and kind BUT not afraid to call you out if that is what you need. He helped me break though my own "BS" so I could really begin to see how a little faith and understanding of oneself can begin to change your life.
I have visited with Todd for several years. He is very compassionate and i feel comfortable talking to him about anything. He is a person that i consider not only a therapist but a good friend. My faith is lifted to a higher level knowing there are people who care as he does.
I have seen Todd for 10 years for a variety of different struggles related to topics such as marriage, infertility, depression, childhood abuse, and professional secondary trauma. I have learned skills that help me function better both personally as a wife and mom, and professionally as a college instructor and researcher. I have lived 50 miles away from Todd's office for about 6 of the 10 years and have continued to engage in sessions in person, via phone, and through e-counseling. What I love most is Todd's ability to compassionately listen and guide me through questioning to come to my own conclusions. My life has transformed for the better by consistently going to therapy at Daehnert Counseling.
