Whenever I'm craving for udon, this is a go-to place. Probably the best udon I have tasted so far in DFW. I love their beef curry udon, highly recommended! I am not a fan of the chicken balls udon, it was a little dry. I haven't tried their tempura, but they look delicious. I definitely will come back again!
Can't go wrong with this brand. Love it. I ordered Tonkotsu and it was DELICIOUS !!!. Shrimp tempura cooked just right, crunchy from the outside, soft on the shrimp. Will come back for sure. Don't have line like the one in Waikiki yet, but when that time come, I'll still get in line.
We come here often, and always walk away extremely satisfied. Their food is so crave-able, especially on a cold day. The place is always spotless, the employees are extremely friendly, and the manager always makes himself present. 99% of the time, the manager makes his rounds at the tables and makes sure everyone is enjoying their food, and to help if they need anything like extra napkins or even a refill on your drink. Despite opening during the pandemic, they never let their customer service lack when other places did. By far one of our favorite spots to eat!
One of my favorite things about this place is the ordering window. When you place your order, all of the components are ready behind the counter. The staff prepares and serves your bowl before your eyes, so there is practically no wait time. I had the Curry Nikutama - soft, creamy, savory. I love the balance in this dish, in addition to the soft-boiled egg, tempura flakes, and green onions. I would visit much more often if the commute was closer.
