Tailgaters Snookered

Let me start by saying that this place has some of the greatest vibes out there. Staff is amazing, food was outstanding. That being said, I had to unfortunately give this place a 4 star rating. The reason for this is that the felt on about 5 or 6 tables I saw, had really taken a beating. There were ball burn marks, stretch marks on the felt and on 3 tables, it looked like the felt was coming off the rails on the corners where it met the wood.

This is usually caused when the felt is stretched way too much at the time of install. Probably need to have the installers install felt better. Diamond tables are definitely very different to felt so might be a good idea to research who does the work. Outside of that, the tables played good and true except for maybe half a rail on one table.

The place was overall VERY well maintained and kudos to the team for that.

We love coming here before and after FC Dallas home games. This past Saturday, we had the pleasure of meeting with and speaking to the owner. She gave us some great insight into the menu items and spoke about some of the changes they made. Every time we have come here, the food has been delicious, the drinks have been well made, and the people have been amazing.

The truffle fries and El Cubano are my go-to here. My wife orders a salad or chicken strips, usually. Saturday they have $3 mimosas and it is a GREAT deal! Also, if you are a whiskey/bourbon drinker, they have a pretty decent selection. You can never go wrong having Buffalo Trace on the shelf!

Lastly, the equipment is all really well maintained. The tables all have well kept felt and are level. The pool cues are straight. The billiard balls are not chipped or cracked, and the chalk is plentiful!

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would.

(VISITED OCT 28, 21) Too much good to be said about this place. The building is extremely well kept and the service from Maiyia and Dillon was top notch. They are friendly and are clearly pros at their craft as bartenders and providing excellent customer service. The food was amazing as well. Ordered the standard Cheeseburger (medium) and a side of the Cheese Mac. Decently priced for what some call "bar food". But this is far from just "bar food". My items came quick, perfectly cooked, and was delicious. Excuse the photograph of the food as I had already dug into the Cheese Mac before I thought to snap the photo. Again, the food was friggen awesome. If you live in the Frisco area or are just passing through, give this place a try. And to top it off, you can play a great game of pool and have a drink served by two service unicorns such as Dillon and Maiyia. Good Job Yall!
