Andrew took me on a great tour of Makers Gym! I had seen it often, but had no idea the extent of creative possibilities this venue provides! I was just exploring podcast possibilities, but this blew my mind!
I'll call it hidden the gym but maybe is nothing hidden about it,
I was from Chicago visiting family and Little elm Texas and we went here and saw so much raw talent very impressive would definitely be back!!!
This young lady did her thing is very unique and has a great presence about herself.
Incredible work space with everything a creative could want. The creative rooms, incredible tech, fully stocked spaces, coffee makers, and snacks are great! The staff are helpful & friendly.
I found this place through an event on a Facebook ad.I have passed by a million times and always thought that it was a real gym. Well this place was a super innovative high end creative space. You can go in and complete any artistic vision you have. They can rent you the space and even supplies can be rented or purchased. From everything to business meetings, to photo shoots.
I went there for an open mic night, they have these nights on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month. So I stopped in to check it out. So, the event did not start at 7:30, it was closer to 9 but the doors and bar did open promptly at 7:30. I happened to sit down beside one of the owners and it was nice to speak with her about this venue/business. The story was awesome, it made me want to support. You can contact for a tour, and I will allow them to share their journey. However, it did leave me wanting to support whatever I can. I spoke with Kalisha Price, and her husband Terrance Price was an awesome bartender! Torii Hunter and Katrina Hunter are business partners as well! This is a super professional environment.
The open mic side of the night was also well put together. Show some love!
My name is Jae Dyer, and i’m a Director, Cinematographer, and Colorist here in the DFW area. I use MakersGym often— filming an array of different content for clients. The Studios within MakersGym offer a level of creative accessibility that no vision becomes anything short of reality. From pre, to production, to post production, the core of your services are all in one place. How easy is that? The only thing standing between you and those processes are an amazing coffee machine that they allow to be “on the house”. Thank me later! Moreover, I stand by MakersGym, and would recommend their studio to any creative professional.
