We came here in search of soup dumplings. The pork and chicken dumplings were flavored well, but could have used a little extra salt or seasoning. Fried buns were delicious! So was my husband’s basil chicken. The restaurant has very nice decor and the overall aesthetic is very pleasing. We would love to come back here and continue sampling flavors
This place has to be the best thing in Frisco. I wasn't expecting much, but was so happy to try everything. You don't find egg drop soup much anymore and I was ecstatic to have this. It qas absolutely delicious. Next was boom boom shrimp. I was hoping for a spicier taste, but it was still amazing. Crab and pork soup dumplings with a ginger type vinaigrette. I could eat so many of those, but had to enjoy the other dishes. Next was pan fried wagyu dumplings. Honeycomb pot stickers. Beef noodle soup, which you get a choice of all meat or half meat and half tendon. Beef pad Thai was a little bit of a let down. I was expecting something spicier and it tasted a bit sweet to me and threw me off, but I still ate it all. Then for dessert was chocolate dumplings, which was amazing. Honestly can't wait to go back and try other dishes. And my server Josh was amazing. He didn't even stare at me crazy for ordering all this for 2 people. He staggered the food out, so we got to enjoy everything fresh and hot. Our table faced the area where they make the dumplings and I thought that was great! If I could give 10 stars, I would. Definitely recommend!
Stopped by for dinner right at opening time and got seated right in front of the glass window where you can see the chefs working. We ordered pork & shrimp soup dumplings, wonton noodle soup, and radish pastry. The radish pastry has a flaky crust and delicious savory filling. Everything was so delicious! We will have to come back to try other dishes.
We went an hour before closing and service was still great.
The food was great too. We ordered pork soup dumplings, honey walnut shrimp, string beans with pork and beef noodle.
The soup dumplings were hot and juicy. Same good quality as dumpling House.
Walnut shrimp was crispy and not drowned in sauce. They were also large size, not just breading.
String beans had a good flavor with minced pork pieces.
The beef noodle is basically pad see eew. Good texture on the noodle and beef was tender and not overcooked.
The egg drop soup was also good.
This was plenty of good for three. The string beans came with a choice of white or fried rice. The side fried rice is the only downside of our meal.
