Dr. Procter is an independent-minded physician. His decisions are made for his patient’s health and well-being without coercion by medical herd-mentalities. This doctor considers you. He doesn’t let insurance company contracts interfere with the patient-physician relationship.

I understand his format has changed, as I was with him before the change. I find this new concierge style of paying to be fair. It benefits me as an individual, because now he can make decisions that are best for me, not an insurance company.

I highly recommend him, but prepare yourself to be shocked; you will be separated from the herd—treated as an individual human, not as a sheep or cow.

My wife and I have been going to McKinney Family Medicine for over 5 years now. We are more than pleased with not only the care we receive, but the family atmosphere and positive attitudes of each and every employee. Cortney Hanson is my PA and I must say, I have never felt so comfortable and been given the outstanding care that I receive from her. My wife feels the same about her PA Erica Smith. Highly recommend!

The patient care at McKinney Family Medicine is by far the best care I've ever had with a family physician's office!

At the beginning of the year I was told that they would no longer be accepting any insurance and all patients will be 100% self pay. I decided to stay with the practice and here are some of my reasons:

I personally see Erica one the nurse practitioner's and I always receive the same quality care!

2. Quality customer service
3. You're never waiting in the lobby for a long period of time
4. When your taken back to a room, after vitals, and speaking with the nurse your family care provider comes in, just minutes later.
5. Visits are never rushed(they actually sit down and visit with you)!
6. They allow you to advocate for yourself and they use the information to treat you based upon their professional opinion.
7. After any visit, I always receive a follow up call...YES, McKinney Family Medicine does this!
8. If I ever call with a question or for even a prescription refill, I get a personal call back from Erica.

These are some of the reasons why I continued my self pay care with McKinney Family Medicine. Quality care can be hard to find!

So glad my friend shared this Medical office with me. The doctor and all the staff are very interested in helping you where you stand with medical care! I love the fact that I can reach out to them and they respond quickly , via their new system set up for their patients. Very personalized care. I had an issue with my health yesterday, had a “ patient text number “ to contact the office and Vanessa was prompt in getting back to me and helped me .
