This man, Leonard Evans of course is well deserving to have this school name after him. He taught me and alot of my McKinney High School class mates and a few of my friends of mine, in driver's education. This is a honest and polite man and a loving father figure , his kids and grandkids are so blessed to have such a father & grandfather. I had the pleasure of knowing him at that time at the McKinney Driver's Education School that was located in the old square of downtown McKinney.

I was in his class in the summer of 1995. I knew him and his son and daughter. His son is like his father, but his daughter she taught me to drive a few times, she was so nice to me. But later on in 1998 I was 19 years old ad still in high school and I was at Eldorado Chevrolet in McKinney , TX buying my first ride which was a brand new 1998 3 door extended cab, upgraded base model Chevy SIlverado. I saw his daughter there(I think her name is Teresa)and I went up to her and tried to thank her for her kindness in teaching me about driving, as my father didn't care alot about me to teach me.

Teresa was there with another person(a female relative or friend) there that day at Eldorado Chevrolet. AGAIN WHEN I CAME UP TO HERE TO TELL WHO I WAS AND WHEN I TRIED TO THANK HER FOR GIVING ME CONFIDENCE. SHE LOOKED AT ME LIKE SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHO I WAS AND LIKE I DIDN'T MEAN NOTHING TO HER AND THEN WHEN SHE PRETENDed TO NOT KNOW WHO I WAS, AS SOON AS I TURNED MY BACK AND WHEN I HEARD HER SAY MY NAME I QUICKLY TURNED AROUND AND SHE WAS WHISPERING AND LAUGHING WITH HER FRIEND AND MAKING FUN OF HOW FRAGILE I WAS BEHIND THE WHEEL. I FELT LOWER THAN DIRT.

Good teachers on par with the best in DFW. Good safe location. Feeder neighborhoods are quality. Decent traffic flow design. Drop off and pick ups not bad. Walking distance from many homes that go here.

I'm not sure what a google review of a middle school should be. I've had two kids at theis school and we've had a great experience.
