I had four of my five babies VBAC with Dr. Lawrence Pierce. Few others wanted to mess with a VBAC, but Dr. Pierce shared his thoughts and decades of experiences, and he was exactly who I needed at the time.
If you need coddling, go elsewhere. He is straightforward and tells it like it is (with a dose of dry humor 😊). After my first VBAC, I didn’t ever want to see another OB but him and followed him from Presby Allen to Baylor McKinney, regardless of the extra distance. He took such good care of me. I had my four babies with him as my doctor from 2009 through 2015 and will always be grateful to Dr. Pierce for the way he handled my pregnancies.
I saw Dr. Brock Pierce during my first pregnancy and he delivered my son. He was great during the pregnancy. He has a sarcastic light hearted- real personality which isn’t for everyone but was a good fit for me. He took Medicaid, not sure if he still does, but it was a blessing.
I had horrible anxiety/fear of miscarriage and he was very encouraging and told me to call the nurses line if I ever had any questions or concerns. He was knowledgeable about mthfr too which was nice. The wait times were never that long. He always gave me enough time in each appointment, answered all my questions and listened to all my concerns. If I called the after hours line and asked a question or left a message, he would call me back. The nurses were kind.
A wonderful all around experience every step of your pregnancy journey.
