My first genuine Tamales came from Tia's. I had only ever had the Hormel brand that comes from a can before this, so, naturally, I had never understood what got people people so excited about them - until I had Tia's. BLEW. MY. MIND. Go there on a Wednesday to see what I'm talking about. You will be amazed.
We tried their menudo and were not dissappointed! The restaurant in a gas station can be off putting but the people were so welcoming and the service was great, it went well abive expectations! Can't wait to try the tacos!
