If your coming into sobriety and willing to do the foot work, Connie and Jim are the ones you want in your corner!!! The support is overwhelming! And you will never feel alone! The women in this house are serious about their sobriety, and will be there like family! From my own experience this house is home!
This by far has been one of the most amazing experiences I had after getting back after treatment. Unfortunately I had relapsed and had to move out but it is something I will regret forever. There’s is so much compassion and freedom here. I hands down believe this is the best sober living in the Dallas area. There’s accountability but not micromanaging. The energy at this house is unlike any other. I genuinely loved living here and am sad I had to go. Nothing but good things to say about Elevated though.
If you are new to recovery and are trying to find a safe haven, somewhere where you can have camaraderie, in a home owned by owners that truly care, then Elevated Sober Living should be the first call on your list. I have been fighting for sobriety, in attempt to regain my life, for as long as I can remember, and have failed miserably each time. On my most recent pursuit, I decided to try sober living, even though my experience in the past with it had been rocky. Connie and Jim, the owners, welcomed me in with open arms. Not only was the application process a breeze, but they opened up a bed for me immediately. I have now been at Elevated for 8 months. Honestly, I was only planning on staying a few months but these woman that I live with have now become my family, along with Connie and Jim. The amount of strength and hope that they have provided me with, through their support, is immeasurably.
Not only do Connie and Jim show up when you need them, but they are always here to check on every single girl in the house. They have copious amounts of resources in the recovery community, and are hands on in helping each and every one of us in our journies. For example, If you have legal issues due to your addiction (i.e. drug court/probation) they will even attend the hearings to support you and update the judge on your progress. Not only do they provide the emotional and moral support that you need, but they make sure the house is stocked with food and supplies (detergent, cleaning supplies, etc.). Also, they invested a lot of time and money into the house to make it gorgeous and beautifully furnished. It doesn't hurt that it has a pool either!!!
If issues occur within the household, which is rare but with any household with a bunch of women, it is understandably inevitable, Connie and Jim immediately call a house meeting and resolve it. They are very solution based people and can tackle any problem with ease and grace. They ALWAYS show up for us and ALWAYS do everything in their power to maintain a healthy household. This is the perfect place if you want the freedom and room to grow, instead of being micro-managed, like many sober livings. The difference between Elevated and other houses is that Connie and Jim believe in us, despite us being addicts, and want to help us succeed through love, respect, trust, and contribution, to which a stable foundation can be built.
These woman, and these owners, have SAVED MY LIFE, and there is no other place I would rather be. I am blessed to call these people my friends and family.
So I’ve lived at the Elevated women’s sober living house going on 8 months now and it’s been one of the best things that has happened to me. I’ve been to rehab 9 times and got out and never stayed sober more than a week. When I got out of rehab in January I moved into the house, and I’ve been sober since which is a miracle for me. This is the longest I’ve ever been sober and I couldn’t have done it without the help of the owners and the women in the house! The owners of the house, Connie and Jim, are amazing and have helped me in so many ways! And I’ve seen them help so many other people. They care a lot! To whoever is reading this if you or a family member needs help call them! This is an amazing place to get your life back on a track. They don’t micro manage, but at the same time hold us accountable. Seriously couldn’t ask for a better environment to stay sober!
Jim and Connie are AMAZING people. They have done so much for me I will forever be thankful. The woman’s elevated sober living has been by far one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have met life time friends, all while living in this beautiful house and being able to focus on my recovery! We have an amazing support system here and are surrounded by people who love us that includes our house manager! I would recommend Elevated sober living to anyone who is serious about their recovery 🥰
