“Until I broke my back in 3 places at the age of 46, I had not experienced intense chronic pain. Intense pain, yes. Chronic pain yes, but intense and chronic simultaneously was a new feeling to me. Other locations give you about 2 minutes to talk and put you on the assembly line for shots. Although shots and rhizotomy can be effective for some patients, we all still deserve to be educated about these treatments.
