World class instruction from world class professors and Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Easy to understand style of teaching. Big classes with students of all levels and sizes. Clean facilities.
I went to lots of other local Jiu Jitsu academies to try them out before coming to Progresso. I signed up after one class here because of everything listed above.
Amazing facility! I dropped in for an open mat and the students were very welcoming, the instructor made sure that I felt comfortable and interacted with me.
The students are highly skilled, much better than me, and they provided exceptional guidance and did not go overboard with an unskilled person, like myself.
A great place if you want to be in a great facility and amazing environment.
I take my daughter here. She learns many things with the help of her coaches. She's training her body as well as her mind with their guidance. The coaches are great with all the kids and have a wealth of talent, knowledge, patience, and trophies between them all.
My daughter has fun there too, and that's a big plus as well.
Progresso is the first place I tried Jiu Jitsu at, and it was one of the best introductory experiences to a new sport/community that I have ever had.
Professor Alex is an extremely detailed, patient, and welcoming coach, and went out of his way to help me learn the material that day. The other students were similarly patient, welcoming, and helpful, and I came away really impressed.
Side note - the facility is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Awesome environment to learn in.
If you are looking to try Jiu Jitsu (or push your comfort zone with a new sport), or simply an experienced Jiu Jitsu athlete looking to join a new gym, you can't go wrong with this place.
Awesome gym! I highly recommend for beginners and experts alike. I took my first bjj class ever there, and you could immediately tell that this was a great place and community to learn in. Not only were the facilities clean and people kind, the professors were also clearly extremely knowledgeable. I definitely plan to come back!
