Primrose School of Plano at Deerfield

We’ve been with this Primrose school for about 6 months now (since our son was 5 months old), and we are so happy to be part of the Primrose family! It is such a happy, safe, loving environment where you can see how much the teachers and staff care about the kiddos. We love our infant teachers so much, and more importantly so does our kiddo! He gets the biggest grin going to them each morning, and there’s no bigger comfort in the world than knowing you’re leaving your kid in the best hands. And as a parent, I’ve been impressed with the communication and transparency to keep us updated throughout the day or whenever anything pops up!

We started sending our son (21 months at the time) to Primrose in January 2023. Over the last couple of months, he has progressed so much in his motor skill and language development. When we first started at Primrose, our son would only eat if he was spoon-fed. Within two weeks he started eating by himself and was much more independent. At a young age, the children learn good eating habits. They sit in chairs and use utensils.

Also, our son has started talking more often and is starting to say some of his first words. We are extremely happy with the progress our son has made since joining the Primrose program.

We left Primrose for a few weeks in February to try another learning center closer to our new residence. Unfortunately, the curriculum nor care was up to par of what we experienced at Primrose. We only stayed there for a couple of weeks before deciding to come back to Primrose. Even though the commute is a lot longer now, we are so happy to know our son is taken of.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and professional. They communicate in a timely manner with the parents noting school closures and breaks well in advance. They also note diaper changes, nap start and end times, various activities and snack times in the Pro Care app throughout the day. This helps us have peace of mind that our son is eating properly, sleeping properly and learning new things.

We are extremely happy with Primrose and would 100% recommend this school to anyone.

Primrose Deerfield has been a godsend to our family! We moved to Texas from Chicago and had to do lots of research and finally a visit, but from the very beginning Terri was kind and reassuring, offering her time through phone calls and emails before we were able to visit. Fast forward, I have been so impressed by the teachers, the staff, the communication, the care for my children- I am truly so thankful and excited to see our kids grow within these walls!!

I have loved Primrose Deerfield since the day we took our tour. It was the people that sold me. I felt like the staff is caring and it is a very close knit school. When my son started at the age of one, I never worried while I was away from him, because I knew he was being cared for. He is now 5 and has graduated and now in kindergarten. He has learned so much and was beyond prepared for kindergarten. The school always accommodated my wishes as my child grew and transitioned to learning new skills like potty training,etc. Now my 2 year old daughter is a student also, I feel the absolutely same. The staff knows all the kids and parents by name. I do miss all the fun activities we had before COVID. I was sad as my son transitioned to kindergarten next year and left the Primrose family but i am also happy that my daughter will still be a part of the Deerfield family. I highly recommend!!! Choosing childcare is one of the hardest decisions you have to make as a parent, and I am confident I’ve made the best decision!

This is the best daycare!!! My kid loves his teachers! He comes home talking about his day and how much fun he had. They also teach them very very well. His 3rd day there he was already identifying shapes! Staff is also very welcoming and friendly. They take the time to get to know every single kid personally and communication is great!
