Royal Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

My son has been in Coach Ricardo’s class for the past year. Coach Ricardo is such a great instructor and notices if the kids are having a hard time and restructures his own teaching so that they will understand. He and the other coaches are completely dedicated and supportive of all the students. They learn each student and teach according to that student. A bit more gentle for some, tougher on others, encouraging and pushes for excellence always. Not only that but it’s another reinforcement for parents on teaching gratitude, resilience, responsibility, taking ownership, and so much more. I could not be happier with this establishment!!

I HIGHLY recommend this place! I’m brand-spanking new to my journey in BJJ but EVERYONE in this gym has been nothing but welcoming and courteous towards me and each other. Coaches/Owners Ricardo and Nancy are very personable and welcoming. I feel like I can do this and feel the encouragement here. If you are looking for a welcoming gym with KNOWLEDGEABLE people—this is the place. You won’t regret it!

This gym is excellent. A great group of people from the professor to the white belts. Ricardo leads with empathy, precision & skill, and even just the way they approach working someone into the art feels perfect. It's simple; you come as often as you can, and carefully learn fundamentals until you are ready for more. Nobody at this gym is trying to hurt you, and everyone I've met and worked with seems to have an obvious and collective desire to challenge each other and grow together. If you've been thinking about learning Jiu Jitsu but are hesitating for any reason, just come join us.

I kept dropping in at Royal for classes and finally joined in as a member. BEST decision I’ve made. Ricardo is an incredible professor that is very passionate and encourages his students to reach their potential. Nancy ( co-owner/ coach) is amazing and helps you feel right at home. The overall atmosphere is unmatched and everyone is so kind and respectful! Definitely give them a try! Best decision I’ve made. :)

I enrolled my 5 year old son here a few months ago and I am so glad I did! Professor Ricardo is amazing and great with kids, my son really enjoys interacting with Professor Ricardo and Coach Nancy (co-owner). I can tell he not only enjoys being around them and the other students in class, but he is getting stronger and learning! I really value the discipline, care, and patience Professor Ricardo and Coach Nancy convey to my son and the other students. I highly recommend this place! Actually, after a short while of my son enrolling I joined myself and experience the same things I saw my son go through. Phenomenal team and environment!
