I started 2018 in constant, severe pain and tightness from scar tissue remaining from my c-section. By August, I had been referred to the C-Section recovery center. After the first visit, the most intense portion of my scar that had been causing me pain was relieved, after two visits, I had lost 6 pounds of bloating, and now as I am almost finished, I almost don't have the words to describe how life-changing this journey of healing they have taken me on has been. While relieving my pain, they have taught me strategies to help keep the pain away, exercises to keep my body from returning to a closed position, and the entire process of being seen by various therapists with a variety of specialized skills was a seamless and much needed process. After the first visit, I was finally filled with hope, and now as I approach my last visit, I am filled with gratitude. They have given me not only relief but restored happiness and hope for a stronger, healthier future. Thank you Massage Source and the C-section Recovery Center- you have restored my life!

These physical therapists helped me find my health and be physically comfortable again in my own body after my c section. When I started seeing them I couldn't even wear jeans because it was so painful around my incision, basically my entire abdomen. After just one single session, my bloated, painful, swollen c section belly slightly deflated and I could breathe. I was hooked after that! Each session I saw an improvement, and after months of seeing them, I felt like I made years progress in just a fraction of that time. The most unique therapy I have ever received. I had no idea that having several surgeries could create so many issues in my body. I have had two C-sections and many other surgeries. The scar tissues alone was blocking blood flow and creating water retention. When I go to Massage Source and see John James he does not just work on what I think is the immediate problem, he is able to find out the origin and work from there. He works on my conversation, breathing, water intake and many other aspects that I had know idea could be effecting my thought process, depression and anxiety. The ambiance at their office is calm and soothing.
