Troop 285 seems to have everything in place to help my son grow into a young man! Life lessons that he will have the rest of his life. To see my son go from learning about scouts to teaching others about scouts is a testament to how this troop operates!

With so many great troops to choose from, I liked 285 because the size of the troop. Big enough for lots of activities each month, but not so big that my scouts were just another #. And lots of adults (including past scoutmasters) are active, so campouts, etc. are more enjoyable for me!

Troop 285 is a great organization
For boys to learn long life skills. Leaders help as merit badge instructors to help boys reach their ranks.
