I was seen for a new patient appointment and it went so well. Where I have dreaded other gyn appointments, this was one where my concerns were met with an action plan and in the moment plan. I am so thankful to have been seen and my dignity respected. From the moment walking in I felt welcomed. The MA was so attentive to me and my needs. She helped me with my wheelchair (which I’m new to,) and was so patient with me as well. I will most definitely be recommending friends!

After having my concerns dismissed by my old provider, I switched to Adriatica. At my first appointment, Jennifer Nuspel was very caring and attentive! Not only did she immediately address my concerns and take me seriously, but gave me referrals for imaging and a specialist. Imaging identified 3 solid masses in my breast, one of which measuring quite large. The specialist said the large one definitely needs to be removed. I worry that had I stayed with my previous doctors this never would have been addressed and gotten worse. Thank you so much Jennifer for actually taking me seriously and doing your due diligence. This is the first doctors office that has really made me feel heard.

I’ve seen Dr. Lori Halderman since she first arrived in McKinney. I’ve always been impressed with this highly skilled, focused, compassionate group of women. A visit to their office, even all those years ago, was like stepping into a world completely focused on women. In their waiting room, in their restrooms, exam rooms, changing areas, throughout their entire health complex were the little things that showed me these professionals knew how to make a difference in a woman’s life, health, comfort, and wellbeing on a whole life basis, as well as making each visit a little more comfortable, making available the little things a woman might need before and after an exam. All those years ago, I had never before experienced such a well thought out plan for addressing women’s needs on such a large and small, individual scale. I felt pampered and safe there. They were and are still constantly evolving, growing, adapting their offerings to address and enhance every aspect of a woman’s health from adolescence through pregnancy, childbirth, child rearing, career, and on into menopause and beyond as new approaches, information, new technologies and techniques become available. For me, their cutting edge approach has always felt grounded in sound, well researched science, given with a healthy dose of caring, compassion and understanding, striking a balance between a woman’s individual needs, wants, desires and what is known to be safe, effective and life enhancing.

I’ve seen Dr. Halderman since the beginning. She has been warm, engaging, smart, funny, and above all, has made me feel truly cared for, as an individual and as a woman. I have never once felt embarrassed to speak with her about anything going on in my body or in my life. Her warm, gentle approach has felt like having a very well educated and practiced friend who has been there to help me decide the best approach to resolving my issues, problems and concerns. She has generously offered information, shared life experiences and given recommendations that have made enormous differences in my life. I only regret that I had not encountered her when I was a younger woman so that I could have shared my pregnancies and the birth of my children with her.
